ISO 9001 engineering, for industry and automotive
Engineering, building automation, and software for automotive, aerospace, industrial manufacturing, and other sectors.
About Steyer Engineering
ISO 9001:2015 engineering, on site and by remote connection
CAD, simulation, project management, and commissioning, on site or by remote connection. A lean core team leads the projects, backed by an established international network of experienced project managers, commissioning engineers, automation specialists, and design engineers, so we scale teams to scope and schedule. German- and English-speaking, with competitive project costs through a lean Kazakhstan cost base.

01
Engineering for mobility & industry
On-site work, CAD, simulation, and commissioning. Teams for automotive, rail, aerospace, and industrial manufacturing.
On-Site & Remote Engineering
Engineering support at your plant, or over a secure remote connection.
CAD & Engineering Design
CAD from concept layouts to detailed drawings. Models and drawings stay consistent and traceable, so manufacturing or the site can use them.
Simulation
Simulation to check processes, run scenarios, and commission virtually before anyone is on site. Less rework, a shorter ramp-up, and fewer problems once the work starts there.
Project Management & Commissioning
Project management from planning to commissioning. We track the schedule, the budget, and the quality checks, then bring the systems into operation.
Worldwide Project Experience
Interactive project map: select countries and explore reference locations at a glance.
02
Building automation
Building management systems, controls, and integration for commercial and industrial buildings. We have done this work in Kazakhstan.
Building Management (BMS)
Control and visualization of the building services on one platform.
HVAC & Plant Control
Control of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning, with schedules.
System Integration
Controllers, sensors, and other vendors' systems, connected through open protocols.
Energy Monitoring
Consumption figures, and automatic adjustments that lower operating costs.
03
Software development for engineering
Business software, web platforms, AI assistants and engineering tools.
ERP & Business Software
Finance, HR, projects, CRM and inventory in one system, also on your own server.
Web Platforms, Portals & Payments
Customer portals and back offices with online payments and identity checks.
AI Assistants & Chatbots
Chatbots that advise and onboard customers, and AI on your own server.
Automation & Integrations
Interfaces, generated documents and automated workflows between your systems.
CAD, 3D & Engineering Tools
STEP and CAD viewers, interactive 3D, native decoders, and desktop applications.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Short answers about the services, the certification, the offices, and how a project runs.
TOO Steyer Engineering is an engineering company certified to ISO 9001:2015. We work on site at the plant and over a secure remote connection. The services are CAD and engineering design, simulation and digital twins, project management and commissioning, building automation, and software development.
Automotive, rail, aerospace, and industrial manufacturing, including OEMs and tier-1 suppliers. The team has worked with manufacturers including Volkswagen, BMW, Audi, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, and ZF. Building automation is for commercial and industrial buildings.
Yes. The quality management system is certified to EN ISO 9001:2015. Drawings, assumptions, test records, and the handover all run through that process. You can open the certificate on the certification page.
The headquarters are at Microdistrict Asa 41, 080004 Taraz, Kazakhstan. The administration is in Almaty. Projects run in Europe, Central Asia, and other countries.
From the family name of our founder and managing director, Arnold Steyer. TOO Steyer Engineering is an independent company registered in Kazakhstan, with its headquarters in Taraz, and is not part of any corporate group.
Wiring checks, I/O tests, safety checks, and a run with your production staff. The person who writes the control logic is the same person who commissions the line, on site or by remote connection. The test records go into the handover.
Yes. CAD runs from the first layout to the complete drawing set. Models stay on your standard and keep a revision history, and the drawings go out in your format.
Simulation covers a line, a cell, or a whole system and checks throughput, ergonomics, and safety. In virtual commissioning, the PLC logic is connected to that model before anyone is on site.
Drawings in your format, usually a STEP or native CAD file plus a PDF. Control logic comes with its comments and the backup from the controller. Building projects include the points list, the trends, and the operator screens. Software projects include the source code and the deployment notes. Every system we commission comes with its test records.
BACnet, Modbus, and KNX. The work covers the building management system (BMS), heating, ventilation, and air conditioning control, and energy monitoring. We have done these projects in Kazakhstan.
Business software such as ERP with finance, HR, projects, CRM and inventory; web platforms and customer portals with online payments and identity checks; AI chatbots for Telegram and WhatsApp, and AI that runs on your own server; and integrations and automated workflows between your systems. For engineering work, also STEP and CAD viewers and interactive 3D.
Our project costs are competitive through a lean cost base in Kazakhstan, and terms are agreed flexibly per project. The work follows EU engineering standards and ISO 9001:2015, on site at your plant or over a secure remote connection.
Both. For installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting, engineers travel to plants in Europe and Central Asia. When the line is already running, we connect to the controls over a link the client approves. Each session is logged: who was connected and what changed.
Yes. The engineers work in German and in fluent English, some also in Russian, and the office also answers in Russian and Chinese. Clients in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland talk to the engineers directly in German, and drawings, reports, and meetings can be in German or English.
Office hours are 9:00 to 17:00 Kazakhstan time (UTC+5), which is 5:00 to 13:00 in Germany in winter and 6:00 to 14:00 in summer. The European morning overlaps with the working day in Kazakhstan, meetings are set across time zones, and on-site assignments follow the plant's local shifts.
Write to us through the contact form or by email, or call. The team is available on weekdays from 9:00 to 17:00, Kazakhstan time (UTC+5). The first conversation covers the line or the building, the deadline, and the files that already exist. After that, we say what we will do and when the next check is.
